…a history intrinsically linked to the sea and forest.

How did the early Mi’kmaq make a pot of soup?  Discover the answer to this and more as we  venture our way into our Mi’kmaq diorama. Experience the feel of actual stone tools and how they were used in comparison to their modern day equivalents.

Mi’kmaq Medicine

Using live and dried plant specimens, students will experience through hands on activity and interactive discussion the tradition of turning local plants and herbs into medicine by the people of the Mi’kmaq culture.
